Long live Open Access

Browsing the results of a periodic search on “desulfurization” brought me to a review article called “Biocatalytic desulfurization (BDS) of petrodiesel.” In itself an article worth reading, it offers a “supplementary table” that will be very useful to some of the readers of this blog.

The table is a “List of bacterial strains that can selectively desulfurize DBT, its derivatives, or a range of sulfur compounds in several crude oil fractions via the 4S pathway.”

Even more interesting … the full text of the review article, as well as the supplementary table, is available for download at NO charge!

Go to Microbiology 154, published by the Society for General Microbiology, to view the article and the table. At the site, you can also click on a link to other articles by the authors of the review, and to similar articles published elsewhere.
