Conference Alert: India

If you are interested in India, you may be interested in these two upcoming conferences …

///////
World Meet of Refining & Petrochemicals Industry, Mumbai, India, February 20-23, 2019
India's refining sector has come a long way from capacity of 62 MMTPA in 1998 to current capacity of 254 MMTPA, projected to increase to 330 MMTPA by end of this decade. Refining industry in India has significantly evolved over the last two decades as the refiners have set up new capacities with higher complexities, upgraded existing capacities through revamps and carried out value addition through integrated the petrochemical manufacturing. Changing market dynamics, volatility in crude oil prices, changing product flows and crude mixes have continued to challenge the refiners who are compelled to become more consumer oriented and develop innovative strategies to run operations in more sustainable ways withstanding the global competition. Strong consumer base in India will drive the demand of polymers in the Indian market which has aspired CHEMTECH to further expand the scope of Refining & Petrochemicals and bring Polymers under the purview of the conference for discussion.
CHEMTECH will organise Refining & Petrochemicals World Expo 2019 with renewe focus on Polymers during CHEMTECH World Expo 2019 scheduled from 20-23, February 2019 in Bombay Exhibition Center Goregaon(East), Mumbai, India and will once again create a platform for the professionals from India and overseas to witness the latest trends in technologies during the exhibition and provide opportunity to interact during the concurrent conference.

From an email alert from ePTQ (http://www.eptq.com/) comes the following …

///////
CALL FOR PAPERS
India’s leading international conference for the oil refining and petrochemical industry invites your company’s submission for presentation at 2017’s event.
Plans have just been announced to develop India’s biggest refining and petrochemicals project in Maharashtra state. This flagship development confirms the nation’s role as the world’s most dynamic innovator and builder for petroleum processing.
Meanwhile, Indian refiners’ deadline to deliver the next stage of clean fuels standards, Bharat Stage-VI, is fast approaching.  And India’s ratification of the Paris climate change agreement will demand the highest standards of energy efficiency in producing these pollution-busting fuels.
India’s refiners and petrochemicals manufacturers are hungry for the latest and best of technology to match its ambitious targets for expansion to meet burgeoning demand and for rising economic performance targets. Refining India 2017 will be the key opportunity this coming year to promote your company’s contribution to these objectives to senior managers from the nation’s major refining and petrochemicals companies.
Preferred subjects for presentation at Refining India 2017 include:
Meeting advanced clean fuels targets
Integrating production of petrochemicals and fuels
Being flexible with the crude slate
