EarthDoc-EAGE’s Free Database

EarthDoc-EAGE’s Free Database

EAGE – European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (https://www.eage.org/) is staging its 82nd EAGE Annual Conference & Exhibition 8‑11 Dec 2020 in Amsterdam, Netherlands … assuming, of course, that COVID-19 allows it.

The 83rd EAGE Annual Conference & Exhibition is scheduled for 31 May ‑ 3 Jun 2021 in Madrid, Spain.

These are two of the many events listed on the EAGE Event Calendar (https://events.eage.org/)

However, as a professional online researcher, I am more excited by the EAGE EarthDoc Online Database (https://www.earthdoc.org/). The Database is free to use, and makes it easy to search the entire backlog of EAGE conference and workshop papers using keywords that match your interests. Many of the items in the search results offer free full text PDFs. Others require purchase. But you still have free access to the abstracts.

By way of example, here are a couple of items I retrieved from two EarthDoc keyword searches.
