Conference Alert & Call for Papers: Asian Downstream Week

“Do unto those downstream as you would have those upstream do unto you.” -- Wendell Berry (born August 5, 1934), American novelist, poet, environmental activist, cultural critic, and farmer

A recent email alert describes a new and improved version of an old favorite.  To quote the news release …

Asian Downstream Week 2015 (http://www.downstream-asia.com/) (previously known as Downstream Asia) is expanding. In addition to the established Refining & Petrochemical Asia, 2 new conferences are now incorporated:
    Petrochem & Refining Operational Excellence Asia
    Petrochem SCM & Logistics Asia
///////

Conference organizers invite you to submit abstracts for the event, scheduled for Singapore from 28 -29 October 2015 as part of Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW), hosted by Singapore Energy Market Authority (EMA).

SIEW, incidentally, is an annual conference concerned with energy issues in the broader sense.  Its concerns include all potential forms of energy, from nuclear to biological and everything in between.

As described on its Web …

///////
The Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) is an annual week-long platform for energy professionals, policymakers and commentators to discuss and share best practices and solutions within the global energy space.
SIEW aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas and discussions on pertinent energy-related issues, while simultaneously meeting the strategic objectives of Singapore's commitment to becoming a global leading energy hub and "living lab". At the same time, opportunities are set up for networking and deal-making among energy companies converging on the event, as well as to provide a platform to showcase innovative products and solutions in the energy marketplace.
