Calls for Papers 2024: Houston TX & New Delhi India

Thanks to a coupla emails that landed in my inbox, I know about two conferences that will offer information on digitalization in the oil & gas industry.

Both conferences are asking for expert speakers who will make the difference between an OK conference and a conference that people will talk about for months to come.

The 10th Annual Digitalization in Oil and Gas Conference (https://www.digitalizationoilgas.com/), scheduled for September 4-5, 2024, Houston, Texas, is organized by the Energy Conference Network. Refining India 2024 (https://refiningindia.com/refiningindia2024/en/page/home ), is scheduled for 9-10 September, New Delhi. It is organized by PTQ-Petroleum Technology Quarterly. PTQ-Petroleum Technology Quarterly (one of my favorite technology magazines) now has TWO sites … www.eptq.com (the original) and www.digitalrefining.com (the newbie.)

The two sites do overlap … but there are significant differences.  Here are a couple …

• Q&A (www.eptq.com) … this invaluable forum (see below) appears to be absent from the new DigitalRefining site
• PTQ 3-year Archive (www.digitalrefining.com) … if you want older issues of PTQ, you won’t find them on ePTQ.com … but you will find the last three years of issues on DigitalRefining 

Tip: ePTQ versus DigitalRefining? I recommend you register with both sites.  Registration is free.  And the quality of information is so high that it is worth your effort to register twice.
