Dealing with COVID-Conference Alerts: Refining India and Petroleum Network Education Conference

COVID is King, unfortunately. As with all despots, we mortals strive to find ways to get things done in spite of what the King does.

Here are two conferences that have taken different approaches.

One of them … Refining India … chose to postpone the 2020 conference to 2021, in the hope that the world’s scientists will have created a safe and effective vaccine, and that our logistical wizards will have figured out how to deliver the vaccine to billions of people by the time of the conference.

The other … 24th Annual PNEC (Petroleum Network Education Conference) Conference & Exhibition … has opted for the virtual solution.

REFINING INDIA 2020 POSTPONED

Now in its 8th year, Refining India has come to be known in the Indian hydrocarbons industry as “the September conference”. Organised by PTQ magazine and IDS, independent experts on refining in India, it provides the perfect opportunity to bring leading edge developments to the attention of senior executives from all of India’s major refining companies.
